of the field beyond the ponds on
slater’s land
ashby trotting behind us
in the tall grass

that spans/we stand on
i toss a rock
(white with black/grey streaks)
as liana releases her helicopter
(samara/maple seed pod)

tulip poplar bloom
(cream yellow and almost neon orange)
plucked from slater hill tree
and placed on kitchen table

cow barn dance
party for two til
dusk including
but not limited to
