the work of weaving

in the middle of the gravel road
i sit with gibbus
and curling up
under the bridge of my legs

trish and i sing the praises
of the luffas
vining/crawling up the trellises
tied up for them in the hoop house

emory and tyler perched on
lookfar porch
serenading with balloon squeaks
that travel across the fields

the work of weaving tomatoes
into the trellises tied up for them
caking my arms/hands/fingers and
parts of my knees/legs

crop duster (blue and white)
zip-droning back and forth overhead
to the west and north

whereupon i confuse
once again
robin williams and tom hanks

i took a risk i say
in the front seat regarding
the banana chips, one of whose ingredients
is flavor

sound of tyler’s typewriter
through the wall
while i cycle through plank
downward dog
forward facing bend
(not in that order)

from the water world:

Have you ever wished that you could just float away on a boat and leave the world behind? Well now you can, the HotTug is a wood-fired hot tub which allows users to sail on a tug boat while simultaneously relaxing in a warm bubble bath. The brain child of Dutch designer Frank De Bruijn, the HotTug uses a specially developed wood-burning stove to keep the water a balmy 38C, and a silent electric engine to send a group of soakers merrily downstream
